Kay’s is Irish, Local and Friendly.

Founded by the Glover family in 1979, the first restaurant was in Donaghmede Shopping Centre and back in those days it was called Kay’s Kitchen after the present owner’s mother, Kathleen. They have stayed true to the founding philosophy, “Buy local when and where we can, use our skills as trained chefs and caterers to compete and always respect the customers who give us our living.

Talking with one of our long time regular customers one morning over a nice cup of coffee and a scone she remarked “I love coming here after the kids have been dropped off at school. The craic at eleven o’clock in the morning can be like a good pub at 11 o’clock at night.” Now that’s what we are all about, good food, good service and good fun.

Kay’s is a family business, who loves to cook for other families and their friends. Whether you’re nine or ninety, big or small, hungry or just a little peckish our chefs will have what you want, exotic and spicy or traditional and tasty, we have it for you. Kay’s Kitchen have 6 restaurants around the Dublin area and employ around 130 staff. We pride our selves on buying local produce from Irish suppliers. Some of which are members of your organisation.
