Silver Hill Foods is a family owned Irish Duck Company founded
nearly 50 years ago by Ronnie and Lyla Steele in Emyvale Co.
Monaghan. Within Silver Hill Foods all aspects of production take
place from breeding, egg production, hatching, processing and
cooking of our own unique Silver Hill breed. Today their son Stuart
continues the family tradition by bringing a Duck to the market
which is renowned for its quality, flavour and consistency. All our
ducks are reared on our own farms and are fed on a natural diet
with no additives.
Silver Hill Fresh and Frozen Whole Ducks are available throughout
the year in all Supermarkets, Food Stores, and Butcher's outlets
and are used by all leading chefs in Ireland, U.K., and throughout
Europe. To reduce cooking times for the busy household Silver Hill
produce many Ready to Eat dishes such as, Crispy Roast Whole Duck,
Chinese Style Roast Half Duck with Hoisin and Pancakes, and many
more dishes.
Silver Hill is an important part of the community of Emyvale Co.
Monaghan with up to three generations of families working together
