Folláin is located in the heartland of rural West Cork,
Ireland.
A 100-year old Irish recipe, passed on through several
generations, was the secret to Folláin's first product, a chunky
Grapefruit Marmalade which was launched back in 1983.
Building on this modest beginning, hand preparing the fruit and
cooking in kitchen-style conditions, we have grown steadily,
increasing our range of preserves and expanding to what is now a
state of the art, modern food factory, built and equipped to the
highest quality standards.
Throughout the last twenty five years the demand for Folláin
products has multiplied many times, yet the secret of our home-made
quality is maintained without compromise to modern production
methods.
We have extended our range to include jams, marmalades, relishes
and salsas, as well as sugar-free products.
The wholesomeness of our preserves is the secret of Folláin's
success, in fact the word FOLLÁIN is the Irish word for
wholesome!
