Cully (Cullen Allen) and Sully (Colum O'Sullivan) are both from
Cork. Cully's grandmother started Ballymaloe House and his mother
continues to run it. Sully's mother owns The Granary Foodstore in
Midleton where she sells prepared meals made in the store. He
worked for SurperValu for 4 years. New Hotpots launching in early
October!
With such credentials, Cully & Sully got together to
reproduce Sully's mother's quality with Ballymaloe recipes and to
sell them through the Irish Supermarkets. Cully & Sully is now
available in all the major supermarkets and many good smaller
shops.
Cully & Sully's first meals went on the shelf in September
2004. These were a range of pies made using Ballymaloe recipes.
They now have 5 pies and a lasagne in this range which are made in
Lusk in County Dublin.
Two years later Cully & Sully launched their soups which are
made in Galway. These were all vegetarian, gluten free and a smooth
restaurant style. Later we brought out a chicken soup which has
become our best seller.
Since starting our business in 2004 we have always tried to source
locally. All our chicken, beef and lamb are Irish and are fully
traceable. Our spuds and dairy are of course Irish. We are always
at the end of our phone and love to get involved in anything food
related in Ireland... as long as the quality is right!! All our
contact details are on www.cullyandsully.com
