Formed in September 1990, Celtic Chocolates operates from a modern
food production facility in Summerhill, Co. Meath and employs 18
people.
Since its formation Celtic Chocolates has developed an
international reputation for its extensive range of after-dinner
mints and chocolate products, and has received multiple awards at
the Great Taste Awards in London.
Celtic Chocolates' after-dinner range has become a firm
favourite with both Irish and international consumers, combining
gourmet chocolate with natural flavours to create a unique taste
and style.
A particular speciality for Celtic Chocolates is the manufacture of
chocolate products for people with food allergies and sensitivities
and its range of gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, egg free and
no added sugar chocolate products are widely available in Ireland
and increasingly in the UK.
The most recent addition to the Celtic range is a range of
Organic Fairtrade chocolate products; including Easter Eggs,
Chocolate Bars, a Chocolate Assortment box and a box of Organic
Fairtrade Chocolate Mints which wowed the judges at the 2008 Great
Taste Awards, winning a Gold Star Award.
