Simplee
Simplee was created by Edel in her kitchen in east Cork. After an over-enthusiastic attempt to grow herbs in the garden, Edel realised she had grown far too many to eat. Always thinking outside the box, she put them into salt to preserve them. The unexpected result was a fragrant and tasty herby salt. Friends and family soon sniffed out this herby salt and started asking for a jar for themselves. And so, Simplee was born.
Simplee is still made by Edel in east Cork using only the best ingredients. Fresh Herb Sea Salt has now been joined by Chilli Sea Salt as well as pure Sea Salt and Whole Peppercorns. All are available in grinders and refill pouches. Edel feels it’s really important to only use the best quality organic sea salt in her products because you really can taste the difference.
Simplee is called Simplee because Edel truly believes that good food really can be quick and easy to make and should always have flavour. In other words, it should be pretty simple. With Simplee, you are always the head chef in your own kitchen. Be creative and add Simplee to any dish you can think of. From fish pie to French toast, Edel believes that food should always be Simplee Magic.
