September 2005 saw a return to the marketplace of the well recognized Irish brand Rudd’s, with a new logo, impactful packaging and an extensive and exciting range of breakfast products. Since then, Rudd’s has enjoyed national and international success at both Blas na hEireann and at the Great Taste Awards winning Gold Stars almost every year since 2005. Rudd’s is also a big contender at the Blas na hEireann awards.
May 2011, saw a re-design of the Rudd’s packaging with new products being introduced into the range. A larger 240grm Thicker Cut Dry Cure rasher was added along with 454g and 227g Traditional Sausages to suit a wider market. The old favorites’ still remain like Rudd’s Roulade of Pudding.
During the summer month’s right up until September, you are likely to come across the Rudd’s stand at any of the major food events such as Bloom, Taste of Dublin, The Ploughing Championships, Tullamore Show and more recently Electric Picnic. This is a great opportunity for Rudd’s to meet their loyal customers and get face-to-face feedback along with gaining new Rudd’s customers.
Rudd’s products are versatile and taste great in a number of unique recipes, not just as part of a breakfast. Due to the high meat content and quality of the products, they are ideal as part of a contemporary starter or main course; from goats cheese salad to bacon and lentil stew.
