The story of iASC Atlantic Seafood Company of Ireland began in earnest in 2011, when James Grimes and Colin Ross presented a plan to the Head of Innovation at the Irish Seafood Development Board, BIM, Susan Steele, that aimed to introduce new, Irish shellfish products to the global market. Susan liked the plan, a lot, and asked them to present it to the industry.
James has been involved in Food Service for 25 years. Following stints in various kitchens in Ireland, James spent 6 years in the UK, working in high-end and corporate catering.Colin has been in Hospitality and Food Service for 15 years, following 8 years in Brewing, and has worked in Germany and Holland.James and Colin have worked together for 15 years.
iASC’s is dedicated to producing, marketing and commercialising innovative Irish seafood products to a premium, global, gourmet audience.
